The Department of Transportation of Wyoming/Motor Vehicle Services regulates household movers. The movers are not required to publish a tariff, however. They are required to have a letter of authority if doing a local move (from point A to point B in Wyoming). Local movers can charge hourly or by weight and distance. They are required to have their insurance on file for liability and cargo (Forms E & Forms H).
One important thing to remember is that you make sure you local mover carries workers compensation insurance and the proper licensing on equipment and vehicles.
