The move may be performed hourly, flat rate, or by weight and distance depending on the company and an estimate should be provided prior to your move with fees and pricing along with the service that is being provided.
A household goods mover must have a PUC permit (license) to perform local moves in the state of Colorado. An estimate should be provided to the customer and agreed upon before the move, and must be signed once the move is completed.
One important thing to remember is to make sure your local mover carries workers compensation insurance and the proper licensing on equipment and vehicles.
