ARKANSAS RULES AND REGULATIONS
Household goods movers are regulated in the state of Arkansas. They do require an intrastate operating authority permit for point to point moves in Arkansas. Movers are not required to file a tariff within the state. The moving company is required to offer additional insurance coverage to their customers. Some local movers charge hourly or some will give a flat rate. One important thing to remember is to make sure your local mover carries workers compensation insurance and the proper licensing on equipment and vehicles.
