- Clean House (Get rid of items you dont need, donate, host a garage sale, moving sale or estate sale, get rid of Clutter)
- Research Your New Community (Get your family involved, so they feel included with the move if applicable, start looking into schools, activities, banking institutes, etc)
- Have a budget (Figure out what you can afford, this will help you decide if you want to use movers, or will be renting a truck and doing it yourself. Also factor if you will have other costs, like storage, closings, security deposits, etc.)
- Make arrangements ( If traveling long distance, book flights, hotels, babysitters, pet boarding, auto shipping, etc, there is alot to handle prior to your move day, make sure everything is booked and reserved and ready to go)
